Band Updates

2025 with 3/19/2026 edits on timeline

On tap for May 2026 is a new 11-song full length release, titled "Hero Down". But first are the single releases of "King of the Club" on Feb 15, 2026 and "Good Night Sleep Tight" on March 27, 2026! The "King of the Club" single also comes with non-album track cover of Kool & the Gang's "Misled".

We have 1 song left to complete as of Mid-March 2026.

Excitement is building with some pretty fantastic material. It will be the most rocking LD effort to date! There is also a wonderful, emotional and epic ballad we just completed called "Lost Along the Way". Man, did it turn out good!

We are keeping the momentum of ever expanding the melodic character (delving into whole tone, hungarian minor, augumented, lydian augmented and mixolydian flat 6th scales) as part of a constant mantra to mine the epic and triumphant leanings in rock music. Big stage arena rock, it is!

The "backline-busters" of the rhythm pairing bassist Mark Foerster and Jerry Bousquet are totally bringing it! Some of the best playing you'll hear! Producer Dave Beegle also chiming in with spot work on piano, other keys and acoustic guitar.

One last mention...

Things were delayed a good  nine months as three of us had accidents, ranging from very severe to some relatively minor repair surgery. Our producer, Dave Beegle had a terrible accident in May of 2024, falling 60 feet off a cliff while walking and rolling another 100 feet thereafter. He was airlifted and sustained something like 19 broken bones and other bad injuries. Thankfully, no lasting head trauma and his hands were sparred injury as well. He's progressing well and has been back to work and gigging over the last several months. Mark had a mountain biking accident which resulted in broken ribs, separated shoulder, punctured lung, a TBI and other assorted injuries. He too is recovering and is back playing. Now I, Mike Lopez, ruptured two pectoral ligaments while bench pressing at the gym in August of 2024. Surgery a couple weeks later and physical therapy up through January 2025, and I am  good to go. I can't leave out Jerry who had to have something suspicious removed from his ear. He says he's looking good and nothing malignant to spread. So maybe, the new release title "Hero Down" carries a whole new meaning given the past year! But these hero's are ready to make up for lost time!

Until next update!
